A fleet of new trains will operate on Devon's railway lines after the government awarded First Great Western a new contract.
The Transport Secretary, Patrick McLouglin, will be in the South West today to announce the firm will run services to and from London's Paddington Station until at least April 2019.
There will be more seats and services into Devon and faster journey times. However the highlight is likely to be the arrival of new Hitachi trains to replace the 125's.
Mr McLoughlin says it's a fantastic deal and the region will get a railway that's fit for the 21st century.
