Devon is set for another day of heavy rain and strong winds thanks to Storm Ciara.
Exeter's Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind between 1000 and 1900 today (Monday 10th Feburary).
It says to expect:
- Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely
- Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely
- It’s likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities affected by spray and/or large waves
Power has now been restored to homes in Teignmouth and Torrington, according to Western Power Distribution.
Last night, Devon County Council said roads were open, but to expect debris.
The wind speeds are starting to ease across the county but the Taw Bridge in Barnstaple remains closed to high sided vehicles. All main roads are open and clear but expect to find tree debris on the roads so drive with care. EP @DevonCC @BBCTravelSW @HighwaysSWEST
