It'll be on the site of the RSPB's Bowling Green birdwatching hide.
The hide itself will also be improved with lighting and heating.
The garden will be available for use by schools and community groups as well as the public.
The funding, of more than 26 thousand pounds, has come from the Viridor Credits Environmental Company.
