Prince of Wales prize heading for village
A Newton St Cyres project that tackles isolation and ill health has won this year's Prince of Wales award.
The Neighbourhood Health Watch scheme runs in several areas, but Newton St Cyres has been particularly successful.
Volunteers, supported by GPs and police, help elderly amd vulnerable residents with things like DIY and lifts to hospital appointments.
The award will be presented at the Devon County Show.
