Campaigners in Exeter are joining a national day of action in support of the NHS today.
They'll be out in the city centre collecting signatures on a 'Save the NHS' petition, to be delivered to all the candidates standing as MPs in the General Election.
The group behind the campaign, 38 Degrees, says the current government have pushed the health service to breaking point.
It comes as the Exeter RD&E hospital remains on red alert - one level below the black alert - indicating that it is unable to cope with the demand for its services.
