The rain has affected the work.
Resurfacing work which was due to continue on the A361 between South Molton and Barnstaple today (Thursday 20th June) has been postponed because of the weather.
Preparatory work has been carried out on the North Devon Link Road over the past two nights, but the changeable conditions mean that the main surface dressing work, which was due to be carried out today, tomorrow night (Friday 21st June) and two evenings next week and the following week, will now have to be re-scheduled.
Devon County Council says it will rearrange the work and display signs detailing closure dates located on site.
