Plans for an authorised gipsy and travellers' site at Haldon have been approved by Teignbridge council.
The land in question, which is owned by the county council, has been used as an unauthorised campsite for nearly 12 years.
An application by Teign Housing to manage the site was approved by the planning committee yesterday.. it sets out a plan for 15 pitches, with allotment spaces, a community building, and waste disposal and recycling facilities.
There'll also be a site manager.
