A new domestic violence awareness campaign's been launched in Devon - to help people in abusive relationships recognise that their partner's behaviour is not normal.
An online quiz has been created, consisting of a series of questions about whether a partner controls and checks on their behaviour, deliberately insults or belittles them, or restricts their social life.
Rachel Martin, the manager of Devon's "Against Domestic Violence and Abuse" partnership, says it's based on years of experience of the way abusive partners gradually become more oppressive.
Police are backing the campaign which they hope will lead to abused people recognising the problem earlier and seeking help, either from them or from charities or social services.
