The Chancellor has announced plans to increase the South West's long term growth rate.
George Osborne has been in Plymouth today to outline a six point plan to boost the region's economy.
He restated the government's proposals to improve the A303, and said they were looking at creating a dedicated rail franchise for the South West.
A goal to increase foreign visitor numbers was also included by the Chancellor
