Residents of Woodbury Salterton will soon be able to get fitter. £15,000 is to be spent on an outdoor gym - funded by contributions from housing developers.
Meanwhile more than £22,000 is going on new play equipment for local children.
They've asked for a zip wire, a swing and climbing equipment.
