Four teenagers arrested
A man's critically ill in Torbay District Hospital following an attack in Kings Street, Newton Abbot on Monday afternoon.
The 39-year-old was assaulted by a group of people around 5.30 p.m. as he walked down the road. He fell and has a serious head injury after one of the group punched him.
Four boys, aged 15, 16, 17 and 18, arrested on suspicion of assault, have been released whilst investigations continue.
Police want witnesses to call them on 101 quoting reference CR/0812210/18. Calls cost 15 pence.
