Crews were called to a commercial property in Bideford
Two people were taken to hospital after a gas leak in Bideford yesterday [23 January].
Fire crews, including two engines from Bideford and an Environmental Protection Unit from North Tawton, were called to a commercial property in the town's Quay at 6.30pm.
On arrival crews confirmed there was a high gas reading and that this was Carbon Dioxide leaking from some cylinders.
In a statement, they added: "Crews isolated the cylinders, using two Breathing Apparatus, one Hose Reel Jet and Gas Monitors."
