The new independent consumer watchdog for health and social care in Devon says it wants to become a strong and influential voice - but needs input and involvement from patients across the county.
Healthwatch Devon includes representatives from the Community Council of Devon, citizens advice bureaux and Senior Voice.
It's been set up at the same time as the huge reorganisation of the NHS, which saw Clinical Commissioning Groups of GPs and clinicians taking over from Primary Care Trusts at the beginning of this month.
