A man's been charged after police were called to a disturbance at a restaurant in Exeter yesterday evening. A male police community support officer was pushed to the floor as he tried to intervene in the disorderly behaviour near Cathedral Green.
A 20 year old man from Oxford is being held for questioning over the assault.
A local 20 year old, Jack Campbell of Verney Street, has been charged with a public order offence and is due in court later this month.
