The RSPCA is appealing for help finding whoever dumped two young pet rabbits in Exmouth.
The pair were found last Friday in a blue plastic pet carrier which had been left near rubbish bins in an alleyway off the High Street.
The male and female rabbits are grey with white patches and about six months old - they were in good health and are now being looked after at the Little Valley Animal Shelter in Exeter.
Anyone who knows who owns them, or who saw anything suspicious last Thursday night, is asked to contact the charity.
