A pensioner from Cofton near Dawlish has spent more than a week in hospital after being trampled by fighting pigs.
74-year-old Mary Smith won't be able to walk for some months after the pigs broke her knee as she fed them.
Mrs Smith had been looking after the animals in her garden for a friend. They also caused six and a half thousand pounds in damage. Police are investigating.
