Devon and Cornwall's police and crime commissioner has welcomed plans that could allow him to handle complaints against officers.
The Home Secretary is consulting on giving that power to PCCs - who currently only have a legal duty to monitor the complaints process.
Tony Hogg says resolving complaints should be part of his job.
