A meeting today could see a new Patrol Boat for the Exe Estuary to keep water users in line.
East Devon Councillors are being asked to approve a £15,000 contribution towards a new patrol vessel this evening.
It would be jointly paid for by them, Teignbridge and Exeter councils, and be used to target any dangerous or irresponsible water users - particularly some jet-skiers.
