 
                            David Cameron has been asked to visit Devon and see the flood damage to the roads for himself - as the county council tries to get more Government funding for repairs.
The county council says it would cost 750 million pounds to bring the deteriorating road network back up to standard.
The councillor for roads and flood prevention Stuart Hughes has written to the Prime Minister inviting him to visit Devon, and asking for an opportunity to discuss concerns about road maintenance with ministers and government officials.
