The man accused of killing a Plymouth teenager has appeared in crown court for the first time.
Cody Ackland, 24, is charged with the murder of 18-year-old Bobbi-Anne McLeod, who went missing from a bus stop in the city on Saturday 20 November.
A woman's body, which has yet to be formally identified, was found at Bovisand, south of Plymouth four days later.
Mr Ackland, 24, of Southway, Plymouth, appeared at Truro Crown Court and spoke only to confirm his name.
He did not enter a plea. He did not make an application for bail and was remanded in custody to appear at Plymouth Crown Court in January.
Judge Robert Linford has warned people not to publish material that could affect Mr Ackland's trial.
