Officers say a man suffered a 'significant head injury'
Police have appealed for witnesses following an assault in Barnstaple, that left a man in hospital with a serious head injury.
Officers are investigating an incident in Boutport Street, close to the Anatolia 2 restaurant, at around 2am on Sunday 2 June.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was assaulted and suffered a significant head injury. He's currently receiving hospital treatment.
