Police are looking for three men after a 24-year-old man was assaulted and robbed in Tiverton.
The man was walking through People’s Park in the early hours of Saturday morning when he was struck on the back of the head from behind. He was knocked unconscious.
The offenders made off with the victim’s wallet which is distinctive and in the shape of Zippy’s head, the character from the television programme Rainbow. The wallet contained £65.
Police are now appealing for witnesses.
