It happened at around 11pm on Tuesday January 30th outside Kinnerton Court in Exwick.
Two men and a woman were involved.
A man in his 40’s sustained a broken leg and bruising to his face.
A man and a woman, who were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, have been released pending further enquiries.
