Devon and Cornwall Police say they're disappointed by the increase in the number of people drink driving across the area.
Around one in five motorists who were stopped in the two counties during a month long crack down on drink driving tested positive,.or else refused or failed to provide a breath test.
166 of the 789 people checked during June fell into those categories.
