Police are working with children in Exeter's primary schools to help them stay safe online.
They've developed a training course which has already been given to children at schools including Ladysmith, Topsham, Montgomery and St Leonards - and others will be benefiting from it in the future.
The training also includes guidance for teachers on how to advise and protect their pupils.
Community Safety Sergeant Beverley Weston, who carried out the training, says the aim is not to scare the children, but just help them understand the internet better - particularly the fact that it puts them into communication with strangers from around the world.
