It happened at a convenience store in Torquay at the weekend.
Devon and Cornwall Police have issued an appeal to find a man wanted in connection with a knifepoint robbery.
The incident took place at McColls, in Marychurch Road, at around 8.30am on Saturday (16th November)
Officers are currently trying to identify a suspect who made off from the scene on foot.
He is described as a white male, 5ft 6in in height, aged between 40 and 50, of average build with a weathered/tanned complexion and sunken cheeks.
He was wearing dark clothing with black trousers and trainers and a long-sleeved, hooded top and seen carrying a Tesco bag for life.
