DNA tests have finally established the identity of a man whose body was found on a beach in Exmouth last summer.
He's been named as 67 year old Clifford John Thorne, who had been missing from his home in Oxford since January last year after telling his family he was going out to buy a newspaper.
Police are now working with his family and Thames Valley police to piece together his last movements, and also to find several of his belongings including watches, a wallet and jewellery, which are missing.
