Police in Exeter are investigating a reported rape in the city centre.
The incident occured between one and two o'clock this morning (Tuesday) in the lane that joins Sidwell Street and the new John Lewis car park - formerly King William Street car park.
The scene remains cordened off, and officers are appealing for witnesses.
Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 101.
