It happened on Old Rydon Lane on Friday [13 September]
Police are investigating reports of an attempted robbery in Exeter last week.
They say the victim, a teenage boy, was approached by two unknown teenagers on Old Rydon Lane on Friday [13 September].
The pair punched him before attempting to take his bike, but the boy fought them off and left the area.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting CR/083207/19.
