Motorists and passengers who don't wear seatbelts are being targeted by Devon and Cornwall police this week.
They'll be carrying out extra enforcement activities in a bid to tackle what they say is one of the main contributory factors in road deaths and serious injuries.
They're also gathering data to be shared with other European forces.
