Sally Horton, 59, was hit by a tipper truck.
Emergency services were called to the A39 at 7.20 on Thursday 10th January.
Her family says: “Sally Ann Horton was a beloved daughter, Wife, Partner, Mum, Sister, Niece and Aunt.
“Sally always lit a room up when-ever she walked in. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.”
Police are still looking for witnesses. Officers say to call 101, quoting log number 0089 for 10 January.
