The 42 year old was the only suspect in Sunday's stabbing.
Police have now named the man found dead in a car at Labrador Bay, Shaldon on Monday (10th June)
Owen Chandler's death is not being treated as suspicious.
He was the only suspect in the murder for 73 year old Peter Freeman, who was stabbed to death on his doorstep in Kingsteignton on Sunday night (9th June)
Police confirmed earlier today that Peter Freeman was known to Owen Chandler.
A file will be prepared for the coroner and the matter will now be progressed by them in relation to the official cause of the two deaths.
