A girl was seen posing for a selfie with "tourists"
On Saturday afternoon (13th July) a Mum raised concerns that she'd seen her daughter posing for photos with a group of people.
Police understand that this caused the parent a great deal of distress and officers attended to provide reassurance.
Following an investigation, it has been established that there were no sinister motives involving the photographs and no images were kept afterwards.
Local police have kept the mother informed throughout the investigation and officers are working with community groups to address the impact.
To reassure the public, there were no attempts to harm any children and no offences have occurred.
