Despite Government telling us all to stay home.
Officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Unit at Devon and Cornwall Police say they still found drink drivers on the road last night (Wednesday 25th March).
They tweeted about the incidents saying it was "Amazing that with COVID19 affecting so many.... we still find drink drivers risking the lives of others!"
The unit have been carrying out patrols on the roads to check all drivers are complying with the Government's restrictions to only go outside for food, health reasons or work (where this absolutely cannot be done from home)
The advice is to stay at home unless absolutely necessary. Amazing that with COVID19 affecting so many.... we still find drink drivers risking the lives of others! #DsectRPT #FATAL5 #NOEXCUSE #STAYATHOME pic.twitter.com/qdEGo6NOZK
