Police are trying to track down dozens of illegal pit bull type dogs sold to people in Devon and Cornwall by a couple in Barnstaple.
Steven and Tracey Tewkesbury have pleaded guilty in court to offences of possessing and offering to supply dangerous dogs, and are due to be sentenced next week.
Police have identified around a hundred people nationally who've bought the dogs, which were described as Irish Staffords - and 37 of the sales were in Devon and Cornwall.
Police say they're not planning to prosecute owners but to ensure that the dogs don't present a risk to the families and communities where they now live.
