Police are warning local shop owners and staff about a suspected scam involving in-store cash machines.
Several have received bogus calls claiming to be from the company that operates the machines.
Managers have been asked to carry out checks involving entering codes, which have, in fact, transferred money out.
Thousands of pounds have been stolen in the Devon and Cornwall force area.
