The four main political parties on Devon county council have put aside their differences to make a joint appeal to the Government over the continuing cuts in funding.
In an unprecedented move, they've written to the local government secretary Eric Pickles.
The council is having to make cuts to services including residential care, youth centres and libraries, in an attempt to cut spending by a hundred and 17 million pounds.
