3 time Guinness World Record holder Matti Hemmings visited Barnstable earlier today (31st January 2018) to inspire youngsters with disability in sport.
The School Games is a unique opportunity to motivate and inspire millions of young people across the country to take part in more competitive school sport.
Speaking about the Devon School Games, located at the Tarka Centre in North Devon, Matti Hemmings says the event is a great platform for youngsters suffering with disability to build confidence and self esteem:
"I would recommend this event to anyone, it's a good way to keep active and fit. It also builds confidence in young people aswell as making new friends and meeting new people.
"It was great to see a smile on so many peoples faces, it's been a great event to be involved in."
