The gap between the asking and selling price for property is narrowing in Devon, according to a local estate agent.
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors predicts that house prices will go up by seven per cent in the south west in 2014 and by two per cent when it comes to rental properties.
Estate agents say lending criteria is now being relaxed by the banks, but they don't think that will lead to another housing bubble.
