A homing pigeon with a bad sense of direction has been rescued by a paddleboarder off the coast of East Devon.
The rescue was photographed by Carla Bragg who works at the Ladram Bay holiday park, and was taking landscape pictures for social media when it happened.
She told us how she saw a female paddleboarder place the bird on her board - and then retrieve it as it tried to fly off and fell into the water.
She then helped keep the bird safe and warm in a cardboard box - and the group traced its owner through its ID tag.
