There is heavy disruption on South Western Railway services, as members of the RMT union begin a four-day strike over the role of guards [30 Aug - 2 Sep].
It means a reduced service across the SWR network, with limited trains and a replacement bus service between Exeter and Honiton.
Passengers are also being warned of a reduced service on the line to London Waterloo, as the operator says it expects to run just over half the normal timetable.
In a statement, South Western Railway said:" The RMT has always said it wanted us to keep the guard on every train which is what we have offered as part of a framework agreement.
"We want to move the conversation on to how we operate our new trains and take advantage of the new technology on board to benefit our customers. We remain committed to finding a solution that will help us build a better railway for everyone."
Full details of the disruption can be found here.
