Nine people have been arrested after a ram raid in Exeter led to a 95 mile chase along the motorway involving four police forces and a helicopter.
A security guard reported two vans ramming a commercial unit at the Newton Centre on Thorverton Road at 9.30 last night.
The vans, thought to have been stolen, were loaded with high-value electrical equpiment from the unit and driven off.
They headed along the M5 and M4, but one was stopped just over the Avon and Somerset border and another at services on the M4 in Wiltshire.
