The number of rapes being reported in Devon and Cornwall continues to rise - but only a small number of people are being charged, according to figures out today.
They show that while the number of rapes being recorded has increased to 837 in 2014/15, there were only 74 prosecutions.
Detective Superintendent Keith Perkin says more rape victims are coming forward now - which is positive - but it's still notoriously hard to investigate and bring charges.
