A man's been rescued from a burning flat in Exeter.
The fire service received a number of calls to the blaze at the property in Silver Lane....when they arrived they found the man at the window of the ground floor property asking for help. He was taken to safety by fire fighters, who tackled the blaze.
However the flat was severely damaged...the cause is being investigated.
