The road was closed yesterday for an investigation.
Police are looking for witnesses to a serious crash on Rifford Road in Exeter yesterday morning (Sunday 14th October).
Emergency services were called just before 1030 to reports of the crash - between a car and a motorbike.
A 21 year old man riding the bike was taken to the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital with serious injuries, but was later transferred to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth, for more specialist treatment.
The road was closed and a forensic examination.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to contact them on 101 quoting log number 342 of 14/10/2018.
