South West Water has today announced an increase in pre-tax profits of seven and a half per cent - up to more than a hundred and fifty two million pounds.
The company has also said it's bringing forward a 20 million pound programme of improvements to sewers and treatment work near important tourist beaches, to help safeguard water quality.
Teignmouth is one of the places where that'll happen.
South West Water is also putting 10 million pounds into assistance for customers on low incomes.. and 30 million into maintenance of pipes.
