A police campaign to reduce road accidents involving pedestrians begins in Devon today.
The local force are taking part in the UN Global Road Safety Week.
They'll be putting extra patrols in places where pedestrians are at particular risk from traffic, carrying out educational activities in schools, and raising motorists' awareness of the danger they pose to walkers.
