An Exeter post office is to get its missing letterbox - but it'll be 50 metres away.
Customers using the branch in Heavitree road, which opened recently, have had to hand their mail over the counter, or go to another postbox if it's closed.
Royal Mail have apologised for any inconvenience and say they were unable to put a letterbox in the building - and the pavement outside was too narrow.
They say the letterbox will be installed in Gordon's Place within the next two or three months.
