"We'll give it absolutely everything," says Exeter City’s centre forward
Bowman’s recent run of good form has earned him a League Two Player of the Month nomination for April.
The towering centre forward, who signed from Motherwell in January, has scored five goals in his last five games for City – including the imperative winner against Oldham last weekend to keep Exeter’s play-off hopes alive.
The 27-year-old Cumbrian will be looking to continue his impressive run of form in the Grecians’ penultimate encounter of the season against 5thplace Forest Green Rovers on Saturday (15:00 kick-off).
City travel to The New Lawn knowing victory is a near requirement for team to secure seventh place and guarantee a play-off spot for the third successive season.
Speaking about his inspiring form, Bowman said: “I was signed by the club to score goals, and it's a great achievement to be nominated for the League Two Player of the Month award, but I would swap that for a place in the play-off's any day.
"This weekend we need to rely on other teams to drop points. However, It's important we go to Forest Green Rovers %100, pick up three points, and hope Morecambe do us a favour." Watch his short interview in the video above.
