Schools in mid and east Devon are focusing on the potential dangers of the Internet and social media this week.
Many are holding a week of activities around Safer Internet Day tomorrow, looking at the risks of cyber-bullying and sexting, and how to use sites including Facebook safely.
The pupils' activities are being supported by youth workers and the police - and there are also training events for parents to help them monitor their children's use of the Internet and help protect them from danger.
